We're supporting the troops by sending them a unique, and very cool pin-up book called, "For The Boys: Pin-ups for the Troops", and this Burlesque Festival is designed to raise funds to send books to the troops. Over 3,000 books have already been sent, but the demand for this unique and entertaining book is high and we need to send more!
It is the goal of this Festival to raise money through burlesque troupe performances to send pin-up books to the troops. But we also believe that we can further raise the awareness of the American public to the resurgence of burlesque throughout the country. With local, regional, and national attention sure to come about as a result of this unique fundraising idea, and the pin-up book itself, everyone associated with burlesque will benefit!
In addition to the great publicity that will result from this event, everyone who participates will also receive a pin-up book for themselves. |
